Who can use Drasty

Drasty is a school management app for students, parents, teachers, and authorized school staff. Accounts are created and managed by the school. Drasty does not offer public account registration.

Information we process

  • Account and identity details, such as name, username, account ID, role, school, class, and subject.
  • School records, such as grades, attendance, homework, schedules, reports, and authorized notes.
  • The relationship between a parent or guardian and the children linked to that account.
  • Correspondence, absence-excuse requests, case details, and files submitted by users or authorized staff.
  • Limited security and operational data, such as device notification tokens, sign-in events, sessions, and audit logs.

How we use information

We use this information to authenticate users, display the correct information for each role, manage school activities, deliver announcements and notifications, process correspondence and requests, protect accounts, investigate misuse, and meet the school's administrative obligations.

Information we do not use

The first release does not process payment-card data, precise location, address-book contacts, or biometric data. Drasty does not sell personal information and does not use it for targeted advertising or cross-app tracking.

Access and service providers

Access is limited by role and permission. Parents can view only the children linked to their account. Some educational or behavioral records may be restricted to authorized staff. Hosting, backup, notification, and security providers may process information on our behalf only as needed to operate Drasty.

Security and retention

We use encrypted connections, role-based access controls, and audit records for sensitive actions. Information is retained while the account or school relationship is active and for any additional period required by educational, administrative, or legal obligations. When retention is no longer required, information is deleted or de-identified where appropriate.

Your choices

You may request access, correction, account deactivation, or deletion of eligible data. Use the data deletion process below. We may verify identity and coordinate with the school before changing a student record.

Public website hosting

This public support site is hosted by GitHub Pages. GitHub may process visitor IP addresses and related technical data for security and service operation under its own privacy terms.

Policy updates and contact

We may update this policy when Drasty, its service providers, or applicable requirements change. The current version will show its effective date. Contact alazalplatformdev@gmail.com with privacy questions.

Delete a Drasty account or eligible data

School-issued accounts are connected to educational records. We verify every request before deleting an account or eligible information.

What to include

  • Your Drasty username.
  • Your role: student, parent, teacher, or staff.
  • The Alazal school linked to the account.
  • Whether you want the account deactivated, the account deleted, specific data corrected, or eligible data deleted.
  • A safe contact method for identity verification.
Do not include your password. We may ask for additional verification through the school before acting on a student record.

What happens next

  1. We acknowledge the request within 7 calendar days.
  2. We verify the requester's identity and authority over the account or linked student record.
  3. We coordinate with the appropriate school administrator when the request affects an educational record.
  4. We complete eligible deletion or de-identification within 30 calendar days after verification, unless a legal or educational retention obligation applies.
  5. We confirm what was completed and explain any information that must be retained.

Information that may be deleted

Depending on the request and applicable obligations, deletion may include account sessions, notification tokens, optional attachments, eligible correspondence, support records, and other information no longer required to provide the service.

Academic, attendance, safeguarding, administrative, audit, or legal records may need to be retained for a defined period. Access remains restricted, and we will explain the reason when retention affects your request.
